I have been getting a lot of demands on sharing the targeted work plan to get a grade 9 in GCSE. So here I come with a 15 weeks work plan. Now this plan can be useful near to the exams or at the start of the year as well so that you can get a head start for your GCSE’s. This plan can be used for Maths and Science from Year 8 onwards as the topics are the same just the depth of the study will vary.

How does Plan work?

So, How does the plan work to get a grade 9 in GCSE? I have divided the complete Maths and Science syllabus in 15 weeks. The syllabus will be covered in 13 weeks and the last two week will be for Mock Practice and Exam Practice for the whole syllabus. To prepare each of these topics and finish the target each week you will be doing 2 days each subject either Physics, Chemistry and Biology but Maths you have to do every day or every alternate day as Maths requires a lot of practice.

How to Follow the Plan?

So, how to follow the plan to get a grade 9 in GCSE ?

Weekdays:- To prepare each topic on day 1 of each subject, you can watch the youtube video and learn the notes to understand the topics and learn the important key terms and glossary. On day 2 of each subject, you need to do questions by topics on each of the topic to make sure you are working on the exam techniques and answering the questions according to the mark scheme.

Weekends: So, according to the above plan in 6 days Monday to Saturday you need to finish the topics and the Sunday will be for Revision of the whole week. As we move to the subsequent week, then on Sunday you will be revising the previous week and that particular week’s topic.

 

How to Plan the Revision Weekends to get a Grade 9 in GCSE?

How should you plan the revision weekend to get a grade 9 in GCSE? During the Revision Weekends you can go over the flashcards, key terms or glossary you have prepared during the preparation days of the week. You can also go over the questions you practised to check the mistakes again to make sure you do not repeat them. Save all your working so that you can visit them occasionally to check your mistakes.
